How to use this product
Massage: Nourish and rejuvenate the body while experiencing the healing benefits of pure essential oils.
HOW: Choose 3 essential oils. Add a total of 5 drops of essential oil to 10 ml of carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. The oils are absorbed into the body via the hair follicles working from within to improve general wellbeing.
Direct Method: Treat specific sites with one single drop directly into the skin. There are some specific cases where essential oils may be used directly on the skin. When a very small area of the skin is to be treated, the direct method can be applied.
HOW: Add 1 drop of pure essential oil to the tip of a cotton bud. For example 1 drop of myrrh for cold sores. 1 drop of lavender for mosquito bites and apply directly to the site.
Calendula Flowers, Soybean Oil, Sweet Almond Oil
To ease red and inflamed skin MASSAGE directly onto affected area.
Versatile and soothing
Calendula oil is made by infusing calendula petals into oil. Calendula oil has soothing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic qualities which makes it helpful for itchy and inflamed skin, rashes, minor cuts and wounds, insect bites etc. Calendula oil can soothe skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.
I used Oil Garden calendula oil a few years ago. Since that time, I continue to use calendula oil, but I buy it in a much larger size from other brands because I use it so often. I experience various types of irritation on my body, and calendula oil is effective at soothing many skin conditions. Calendula oil doesn’t always give relief for intensely itchy rashes, so sometimes I mix a little bit of lavender oil or tea tree oil to the calendula oil.
I have one small criticism of Oil Garden calendula oil: it contains soybean oil which could be genetically modified and/or processed with chemicals.
