MILD UPSET: To calm unsettled nerves
Never without this
I discovered” cedarwood very early in my essential oil journey and I make sure I never run out of it. I don’t use it frequently but it is invaluable for any flu issues and/or sinus and hay fever. My husband often has chest infections and if he is coughing the cedarwood is the first thing I reach for. I have an electric burner as well as candle burners and a diffuser and if he is having breathing problems I’ll put cedarwood in all of them. I’m not fussed about the fragrance on its own but it works perfectly with lavender or citrus oils. Adding the other oils doesn’t seem to make any difference to the effectiveness of the cedarwood.
I notice a difference with his breathing about an hour after I use the cedarwood and I continue using it until he has recovered. I have no idea why it works so well but I’m not about to question something that it as effective.
Use for any breathing issues alone or with lavender or citrus oils.
Relief from coughing.
Bought it on a whim, glad I did
Just recently I got this oil to blend with some other I have for the oil burner and hair/scalp preparations. Did not expect the scent to be so strongly woodsy!
Still, it is of an excellent quality and to make it lighter I use it with the blend of basil and rosemary for the scalp massage formula. The purpose is improved circulation, skin condition and hair growth promotion (I have waist long hair, so I use this oil to keep it growing fast, so I can trim it faster, to keep it healthier).
It is also great to use for the eczema on my hands. I pop it directly onto my hands (where I get eczema on occasions from allergic reactions to metals and nail polishes), especially finger area, where it appears, before going to bed. It does help with healing it faster. Also I use YlangYlang.
